Advertising Operations Manager

The Job

Cybrid Media is seeking an Advertising Operations Manager to run all front-end advertising operations from our office in Los Angeles. Cybrid Media is an innovator in the arena of social marketing, and we’re looking for someone who can match that innovation The position will manage all business development, sales, program development, and implementation from start to finish for a new, wholly-owned publication.

This position is an integral component of this new effort and will represent the publication in all forms of advertising operations. We’re seeking a professional, driven candidate capable of getting great work done (by themselves and with others) in a casual and fun office. This position will be responsible for laying the framework initially, via structured reporting, practices, and policies while overseeing growth for an expansive ad management division. As such, we’re looking for a candidate with experience at a fast-growing firm, and capable of overseeing the development of the sales division of this publication, with near-term opportunities for upward mobility and team management.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Has experience building, managing, and motivating a team for both projects and day-to-day operations
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to not only bring in existing relationships and maintain them, but create new ones to match the growth of the company in other areas. (See the stats in the company description for an idea of the starting point for this business)
  • An analytical approach to data that will assist in guiding company decisions on both a strategic and tactical level
  • Lives in Los Angeles with no relocation necessary
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain working relationships with major accounts, including: DSPs, retargeters, managed buyers and agency trading desks, and other publishers
  • Prepare campaign-specific and general reports, with analysis, for presentation to the executive team
  • Manage the set-up, delivery, and reporting of campaign deliverables to any partners as required
  • Proactively investigate and escalate issues related to delivery, functionality, reporting or ad serving technology.
  • Flexibility and willingness in handling other related tasks, when needed.
  • Build strong client and agency relationships
  • Identify opportunities to up-sell and renew accounts
  • Assist with strategic advertising deals on our programmatic products to support team objectives
  • Develop quarterly objectives, which details milestones to work toward in the following quarter
  • Meet or exceed established pricing targets and sales goals
  • Create professional and actionable sales packages
  • Coordinate with editorial and product teams to ensure sponsored programs meet client expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years experience in advertising operations, specifically in campaign management and trafficking
  • Knowledge and experience working with third-party ads
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and analyzing ad data for both decision making and reporting
  • Superior communication scales for both internal discussions and client relationship management
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects or campaigns simultaneously while adhering to
  • Bachelor’s degree
